The 454 NSW Tubeless Disc-brake is the ultimate road racing wheelset, delivering everything the performance cyclist demands. Aerodynamically efficient and stable in all wind conditions, this wheelset features a wider rim designed for tubeless tires at lower pressures. This design reduces rolling resistance and provides superior vibration damping, ensuring you lose as little energy as possible on the road. For the ideal balance of aerodynamics and efficiency, a 28mm tire is recommended. The undulating Sawtooth rim shape with Hyperfoils represents our most aerodynamic and stable design to date.

Engineered with Zipp’s Total System Efficiency (TSE), the 454 NSW combats the four biggest enemies of speed: wind resistance, gravity, rolling resistance, and vibration losses. The use of hookless (straight side) rims is integral to this approach, creating a more seamless transition between the tire and the rim for improved aerodynamics. This construction also allows for more efficient resin distribution, resulting in a lighter and stronger wheel. At the heart of the wheel is the premium ZR1 SL hubset, featuring ceramic bearings and 66 points of engagement for immediate response and reduced weight.
