Crafted by ENVE’s expert team in Ogden, Utah, the Melee reflects their philosophy of designing and building the bikes they want to ride. Every frame embodies ENVE’s deep expertise in carbon engineering — focusing as much on the meticulous crafting process as on the performance of the material itself.
To meet the demands of modern racing, the Melee is engineered for exceptional durability and stiffness while maintaining comfort and compliance where it matters most. ENVE achieves this through continuous carbon fibre layups, zone-specific layering, and tapering the laminate to deliver strength and efficiency while reducing excess weight.
Finished in a striking Damascus colourway, the Melee combines beauty with performance. Using ENVE’s Real-World Fast aero design principles — the same technology found in their SES wheel line — the frame delivers aerodynamic efficiency tuned for realistic riding speeds. Tested both in the lab and on the road at 32kph (20mph) and 48kph (30mph), the Melee offers a proven aerodynamic edge and stability at speed.
Designed to perfectly complement ENVE’s SES wheel range, the Melee’s tubeset shapes are optimised to reduce drag and improve handling. Whether you’re chasing seconds in a triathlon, climbing mountain passes, or competing on mixed road surfaces, the Melee delivers unmatched performance and adaptability.
Optimised around 27–31mm tyres for aerodynamic performance, the Melee can accommodate up to a 35mm tyre, allowing you to tailor your setup for smooth tarmac or rougher roads. Available in seven sizes and with five fork rakes, the Melee provides precision fit and responsive handling across the entire size range.
The Melee uses a threaded T47 inboard bearing for smooth operation and is compatible with a wide range of drivetrain options — from Shimano mechanical to all wired or wireless electronic groupsets, in both 1x and 2x configurations.
The fully integrated front end routes hoses and wires internally between the 1.5" upper bearing and 1.125" steerer tube. Pairing the Melee with the ENVE Road Stem and SES AR Handlebar achieves a sleek, cable-free look that minimises wind disturbance.
Its dedicated ENVE Aero seatpost features a wind-cheating Kammtail profile and ENVE’s patented twin-bolt saddle clamp design, available in three lengths with either 0 or -20 degree offset.
